We started traveling together in 1996 and visited most of Western Europe,The UK, Greece and Scandinavia together. Although we visited a number of the same cities and countries several times, each time was a new adventure with new memories. My favorite tour by far was the Best of Europe Tour which I took with the Rick Steves Company. This was called a Bus Plus Tour which meant that the tour company provided transportation, hotel room and escort but most of the tour was done independently, which worked well for this lively group. We attended an opera in the Baths of Caracalla, a concert in a Venice church as well as a concert in Amsterdam. We chose our cultural activites and had some great experiences. Travel has opened up a new world to my son and myself and I know we will continue to grow through our travels. Unfortunately I did not start using Digital until 2005 so the earlier pics are grainy. Most Europe pictures are under TRAVEL, including Western Europe, Eastern Europe,Scandianvia and Russia. The Rick Steves Best of Europe are under RICK STEVES BEST OF EUROPE.
